However, I\u2019m not a fan of<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">liquid <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cleanse diet. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s hard to feel empowered when you\u2019re drinking your breakfast. And your lunch. And your snacks. And your dinner. . . I need to chew. You? &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I prefer a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">real<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">food<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> cleanse diet. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I believe in eating <a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/3-cleansing-foods-cant-live-without\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">whole foods<\/a> to fuel and energize your body. Eating proper portions of fiber rich, high antioxidant foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and also eating lean protein and healthy fat, will give you the results you want for your health and weight for the long term. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need to go to the extreme of liquid cleansing to achieve this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yep, as boring as it may sound, eating healthy foods as part of an overall balanced diet is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4\u00a0benefits from a real <a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/5-day-cleanse\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/5-day-cleanse\/\">food cleanse<\/a> diet for a few days include<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ridding your body of toxins like pollution, pesticides, chemicals and additives (your body does this all the time thanks to detox organs like your liver and kidneys, but cleansing may take it up a notch)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reinvigorating your body and reducing inflammation by fueling up with vitamins and minerals\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/5-ways-to-lose-the-bloat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reducing bloat<\/a> and quick loss of water weight \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Giving yourself an opportunity to mentally have a starting point to <a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/much-eat-questions-answered\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">taking your nutrition up a notch<\/a> and laying the foundation (or framework) for long term <a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/why-managing-stress-is-so-important\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">behaviors<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, there are exceptions to every rule. I <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">may <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">green light a liquid cleanse for a specific situation or condition such as an individual needing to recover from GI distress. Sometimes bowel rest can be helpful to get a client back on a healthy track. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Very infrequently I may have a client who needs something extreme to break a cycle and get to a new starting point on a healthy diet and a food <a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/feeling-puffy-beat-the-bloat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cleanse<\/a> isn\u2019t an option because they\u2019re overwhelmed by the prep (simple as it may be) or really resistant to alternatives. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, 99% of the time I recommend a whole, real solid <a href=\"https:\/\/nutritiouslife.com\/5-day-cleanse\/\">food cleanse<\/a>, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">not<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a liquid cleanse.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are 4 reasons why I don\u2019t like a liquid cleanse diet:<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Likely you\u2019ll be very hungry and feel grumpy <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It often leads to yo yo dieting because you\u2019ll probably gain weight (and likely more back) immediately following <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s difficult to stick to if family meals are part of your life and\/or you dine out <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You won\u2019t have the energy to exercise <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Steer clear of liquid cleansing.
