If you’ve ever had a stuffed chicken breast, chances are it was stuffed with ham and cheese. It may have also been breaded and covered with a thick, creamy sauce. We’re talking about the very popular classic dish: Chicken cordon bleu, in case you’ve never had it. This stuffed chicken is nothing like that, except for the stuffed part. With this recipe, you’ll stick inflammation-fighting artichokes, walnuts, fresh basil, and antioxidant-rich garlic inside the chicken breasts. The result is a healthy, delicious filling you can taste with every bite. It’s not traditional like cordon bleu, but something tells us the French would still approve.

Every home cook needs lots of ways to dress up chicken breasts for easy, protein-rich dinners, and this is a really creative one.  Why not put vegetables, nuts, and spices directly inside the chicken, instead of serving them on the side?
